Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Compliance Officer will ensure that the company and its clients remain compliant with UAE AML laws and other relevant regulations. This role includes conducting audits, educating team members, and submitting reports to authorities to mitigate risks and promote a culture of compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance role within the business setup industry in the UAE.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE AML regulations and guidelines.
- Strong understanding of corporate structures, licensing requirements, and free zone and mainland compliance.
- Certification in AML or Compliance (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month

Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance
Ensure adherence to UAE AML laws, regulations, and guidelines for the company and clients.
Monitor and update the company’s internal policies to align with regulatory changes.
Prepare and submit timely reports to authorities such as the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) or other relevant bodies.
- Client Compliance Management
Verify and monitor compliance documentation for all client entities.
Conduct regular Know Your Customer (KYC) and due diligence checks on new and existing clients.
Provide advisory support to clients on regulatory requirements.
- Audits and Risk Assessment
Conduct periodic compliance audits for both the company and its clients.
Identify potential compliance risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
Maintain and review a risk-based compliance monitoring plan.
- Team Training and Awareness
Educate and train colleagues on AML compliance and industry best practices.
Promote a culture of ethical behavior and awareness regarding regulatory obligations.
- Documentation and Reporting
Maintain detailed and accurate compliance records, including risk assessments and audit findings.
Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) when required.
- Liaison with Authorities
Act as the primary point of contact with UAE regulatory bodies regarding compliance matters.
Respond promptly to inquiries from authorities and provide necessary documentation.
