Description:

Main Purpose:
Assist the Head of Compliance Program Effectiveness with all aspects of assessing, monitoring and developing the Trafigura Group Compliance Program to ensure the consistent and robust continuous improvement of the Compliance program.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance or law professional with at least 8 years’ relevant experience
  • Experience in commodities trading, ideally with significant international and cross border experience
  • Should have extensive experience of all aspects of a corporate compliance program including antibribery
  • and corruption, anti-money laundering, trade sanctions, market abuse.
  • Desirable to have experience managing compliance aspects of participating on futures exchanges and
  • the various international rules governing the use of OTC derivatives such as EMIR, MiFID II, Dodd
  • Frank
  • Good IT skills and organisational skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Experience with Relativity desired

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the contious improvement program within the Trafigura Group Compliance Department.
  • Lead special projects as required. Examples may include enhanced due diligence of acquisitions, joint
  • ventures, or equity investments or leading the project management of planned program improvements
  • Supporting the project management and management of the Trafigura response to its oversight
  • obligations with the US Department of Justice.
  • Establishing strong working relationships across the business.
