Rollbeskrivning:Assignment Description:
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Component Engineer skilled in Lidar sensor integration. As a curious and open-minded team player with a ”bring-it-on” mindset, you will be a key part of their development team. Your main focus will be to define, guide, and integrate the Lidar sensor mechanically and electrically into their vehicles. To find the best integration solution, you will collaborate closely with your team, suppliers, and other stakeholders, creating different concepts and prototypes, and verifying them before developing the final production-intent solution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Several years of experience in automotive sensor integration.
Knowledge of Lidar or photonics.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechatronics, robotics, or a related field.
Proven hands-on experience in developing automotive sensors or Lidar sensor systems in other industries.
Understanding of sensor performance optimization, considering time, cost, and quality.
Familiarity with modern materials and manufacturing processes.
Capability to verify sensor design performance (meritorious).

Responsibilities:

Define and guide the mechanical and electrical integration of the Lidar sensor into vehicles.
Collaborate with teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to create and verify integration concepts and prototypes.
Develop the final solution toward production intent.
