Component Repairs and Warranty Specialist
Join easyJet’s E&M Supply Chain team as a Component Repairs & Warranty Specialist! This new and exciting role reports to the Component Repairs & Warranty Manager and is responsible for the administration of all CRO activity, submission and administration of all warranty and guarantee claims, and coordination of all supporting evidence for E&M insurance claims. Our team of dedicated professionals handles over $250M of aircraft parts across Europe, managing supplier selection and delivery of goods and services to maximise aircraft availability while reducing inventory costs.
What you’ll be doing:
You will be responsible for the administration of all component repair and overhaul requirements, including, but not limited to, repair administration, workscope confirmation, order management, repair cycle management and cost oversight. Ensuring that AMOS is updated to reflect accurate repair order status at all times. Responsible for the submission and administration of all warranty and guarantee claims, ensuring the status is accurately maintained in various systems. Responsible for the registering and coordination of all E&M insurance-related activity, including the collation of all costs, ensuring that the Insurance Team is updated to the point of conclusion and recovery of costs. Supports the Component Repairs & Warranty Manager in ESR/NCR investigations. Supports the Component Repairs & Warranty Manager with the production and maintenance of regulatory procedures relating to Component Repairs & Warranty Team activity.
What you’ll need to do the role:
Experience of working in CRO-related activity and/or warranty and guarantees management in an airline/aerospace environment, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced airline/aviation environment. Essential skills include interpersonal, communication (written & verbal), analytical, and numeracy skills. Comfortable in a highly technical environment and familiar with technical publications (e.g., CMM’s, SB, VSB, SILs, etc.), capable of interpreting and coordinating technical decision-making with key stakeholders. Experience with repair contracts, Airbus SSCs, and legal awareness is desirable. Experience in airlines/MRO and working knowledge of Aviation Regulations (Part 145, Part M/CAMO, Part 21) is essential, and experience with AMOS is desirable.
