Barnstorm VFX is gearing up for a busy fall and would love to hear from Compositing Supervisors who are interested in future opportunities!
The ideal candidate has proven experience in supervising artists on both episodic and feature projects, exceptional Nuke compositing skills, and is passionate about delivering high quality work and pushing their creative boundaries.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead a team of compositors across one or more projects, providing strong creative and technical direction, and supervising shot creation and finishing.
- Efficiently collaborate with the VFX Supervisor, VFX Producers, Coordinators, to implement and execute clients’ vision to the highest standards.
- Participate in technical and creative calls with directors and clients.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to assign tasks under tight deadlines and fast turnaround times.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback when reviewing shots, maintaining quality and consistency in large sequences being worked on by multiple artists.
- Ensure quality control and compositing teams’ delivery of high quality work.
- troubleshoot technical problems on assigned shots.
- Strive for excellence in terms of aesthetic and technical work.
- Take direction from Compositing Supervisors, Leads and VFX Producers to execute clients’ vision to the highest standards.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
Pay Range: $65 - $87/ hour
The posted pay range is aligned with what we believe is fair pay at the time of posting this role. An applicant’s relevant education, experience, skills and qualifications, location and currency may all be considered when deciding pay position within the range. Pay ranges may change.
Benefit plans are dependent on the local plan offering and employment status but all US and Canada plans include a comprehensive health insurance plan, retirement savings, and paid time off.
