As a Strategic Buyer, your day is centered around conducting supply and demand analyses, evaluating make-or-buy decisions, and ensuring material availability through effective purchasing and expediting. You collaborate with Supplier Quality Managers on audits and release/reject decisions, contributing to a robust supplier management program.
As Strategic Buyer you will focus on the tactical implementation of the procurement strategies defined in Corporate Commodity Management and based on the commodity strategy. You make supplier selections based on the metrics available to you.
You focus on internal customers and partners that cannot be successful without your contribution, timeliness and transparency. You work in a highly motivated team with a “doer” attitude where you help and support each other. You will solve short term/daily issues and create tremendous value for our factories and customers.
