Responsibilities:
- Promote and facilitate ML/AI research initiatives across Roswell Park.
- Collaborate on the design and execution of machine learning (ML) and radiomics-based research projects.
- Apply state-of-the-art Python-based tools (e.g., PyTorch, SciPy) for image segmentation, feature calculation, and model building.
- Stay up to date with the latest research in medical imaging, machine learning, and AI to ensure the application of cutting-edge techniques.
- Ensure proper image processing, including anonymization, segmentation, and outcome prediction model construction.
- Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Podman.
- Work with system architects to optimize and implement in-house tools for large-scale medical imaging workflows.
- Provide advanced training and user support for researchers in oncology-focused ML/AI applications. Hybrid work options are available
