POSITION SUMMARY

One temporary hourly-intermittent Computer Lab Assistant position in the KECK Computer Labs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrates knowledge of PC computers and basic software.
• Demonstrates the ability to work with students and faculty in a patient and knowledgeable manner
• Demonstrates the ability to learn quickly and perform duties in a timely and efficient manner.
• It is preferred, but not required, that the incumbent demonstrates GIS skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Monitor Computer Lab
• Assist students and faculty with computer equipment, printers, and scanners.
• Clean labs, whiteboards and other lab equipment.
• Restocking printers and other lab supplies.
• Occasional software installs on computers within the labs.

Other duties as assigned.
