The educational institution with which we collaborate is seeking a computer science teacher in a full-time role who can cater to the specific requirements of each student while optimising their learning outcomes.

• Create and present engaging and motivating computer science lessons for students.
• Create a welcoming environment for learning where all students are inspired to achieve and feel important.
• To accommodate the various demands of your pupils, differentiate your teaching and learning activities.
• Evaluate the progress of the students and offer helpful criticism to help them grow.
• Participate in the curriculum’s development for computer science by adding interesting and pertinent materials.
• Work together with colleagues to improve teaching and learning throughout the school by exchanging best practices.
• Take part in school functions and extracurricular activities to enhance students educational experiences.

A successful candidate will need to have:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
• Must provide 2 professional references.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Experience teaching computer science at the secondary school level is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Computer Science.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• A passion for teaching and providing the best opportunity for every student.
