Job Description
The knowledge of a great Concierge Agent is the expectation of our guests when staying at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Your ability to anticipate guests’ needs and make informed suggestions will ensure they have a truly memorable stay.

YOUR SKILLSET INCLUDES:

Previous experience in a similar environment will be an asset
Must possess outstanding guest service skills, including professional verbal communication skills
Good computer literacy (experience using Property Manager System preferred, and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel)
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible and reliable, demonstrating initiative as required
Proven ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including:
Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Guest Relations Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Offer professional, consistent, friendly and engaging service
Ensure inter-departmental communication and cooperation in the interest of better guest satisfaction
Providing accurate information about activities and dining in the hotel and area
Offering assistance to all guests in making reservations and arrangements for travel, dining, special request and activities
Serve as a liaison for guests by providing information relating to all aspects of the hotel
Maintain knowledge of the hotel’s emergency procedures
Maintaining good working relations with local businesses, restaurants and other hotel departments
Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards
Follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives
Performing general office duties
Other reasonable duties as assigned
