Concierge is an integral part of the Front Office Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests are well looked after. As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high profile department carries a special responsibility. As the Concierge, the role is to assist guests with special requests & requirements before and during their stay, help provide solutions should issues arise, and assure guests’ comfort and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain presence at the Concierge Desk; establish & preserve a friendly yet professional relationship with hotel patrons.
- Assist Chief Concierge in maintaining a Guest Services Directory with local information of churches, public transportation schedules, taxi & limousine services, car rentals, airlines, baby sitting services, etc.
- Attend to complaints & solve problems of hotel guests; assist with special requests for amenities, information, transportation, cultural event tickets, restaurant & airline reservations & other reasonable requirements as they arise.
- Co-ordinate with all Front Office Departments as necessary & maintain an effective flow of communication with all hotel personnel.
- Be familiar with all guestrooms & suites, their location, rates & amenities; have thorough knowledge of all hotel services & facilities & their hours of operations.
- Be totally aware & informed of daily hotel functions, groups, conventions & tours; be familiar with citywide events, major attractions, cultural events, restaurants & other entertainment activities.
