About The Role
Are you passionate about precision and reliability? Do you excel in a role that requires a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach? We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Condition Monitoring Technicians for opportunities at our North Capel operation.
Reporting to the Reliability Superintendent, the key purpose of this role is working with our Maintenance team to ensure that objectives are delivered safely and efficiently.
This fast-paced role will require a high level of attention to detail and exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
Our North Capel site is located in the South West of WA approximately 15 kilometers out of Bunbury and 5 kilometers from the Capel township. Enjoy the enviable coastal lifestyle of living in the South West, while also being home every night.
This is a residential role, working Monday to Friday on a standard 40-hour week.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Coordination and completion of Vibration Analysis, Oil analysis, Thermography, UTT and other Condition Monitoring Techniques including:
  • Vibration data collection and analysis, scheduled and non-routine
  • Thermographic data collection and analysis, scheduled and non-routine
  • Oil and grease sample data analysis
  • Routine thickness testing of dangerous goods storage tanks

Provide timely reports and expert advice to key stakeholders on suitable corrective actions and monitoring implementation plans

  • Creation and continuous improvement of Condition Monitoring Strategies
  • Develop diagnostic tools to predict equipment failures and minimize the impact on production
  • Provide specialist support to the maintenance team on lubrication issues acting as a specialist and applying best practices in hydrocarbon management
  • Assist with the delivery of work systems and procedures to ensure that condition monitoring requirements are met for the ongoing safe reliable operation and maintenance of equipment in the processing plants and associated areas
  • Execute work orders, inspections and repairs to a high standard
  • Accurate recording of time confirmations and relevant information in SAP
  • Ensuring all reactive tasks are executed according to risk ranking of the work
  • Actively participating in continuous improvement within the technical function

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in condition monitoring and lubrication
  • Cert. III Engineering Trade certificate
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to safety
  • Previous experience in an industrial or mining environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork
  • VCAT II Vibration Analyst Certification as an advantage
  • LCAT I Machinery Lubrication and Oil Analyst as an advantage
  • Level 1 Certified Infrared Thermography as an advantage
