The ideal candidate will be a team player who is a fast learner, adaptable and has exceptional attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills.   • Cocktail, Spirits and Wine Knowledge

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO.

  • Oversee the smooth running of the C&B department (before, during and after service periods) and allocate daily jobs as required.
  • Coach, guide and train all new and current members of staff to enable them to successfully contribute to the team objectives.
  • To ensure that you and the team have a full product knowledge of all menu items, wine and drinks lists and their service.
  • To ensure function areas are set as per client’s specifications as per Banquet Event Order.
  • Communicate with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met.
  • To always maintain a high standard of service within C&B Areas.
  • Be responsible for security and safe handling of all equipment used within the department.
  • Be responsible for department daily financial reporting.
  • Maintain safety by adhering to safety policies and be responsible to report accidents immediately. Support all safety programs. Ensure that proper safety instructions are given before operating any equipment. And work in a safe manner always.
  • Deal with any issues that may arise to minimise guest complaints.
    This role also requires the ability to move and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. In addition, you’ll need to be able to reach overhead and below your knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping, and move over uneven or sloping surfaces.
