Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

As Conference Events Supervisor for Parker’s Tavern, you will be part of the team of outstanding events floor staff to deliver flawless service, whilst also playing a key role in team member training development. You will guide the team to consistently high standards by creating exceptional experiences and exceeding expectations to ensure that every guest wants to return.

THE DUTIES

  • You will be a team induction ‘buddy’, ensuring new starters are on track with their induction plan, and offering on-shift support in the areas of the induction plan that the team member has not yet completed.
  • Lead the team in the absence of the Events Manager.
  • Actively support develop the team through on-shift training.
  • You will motivate lead other team members, ensuring the team stay proactive productive.
  • You’re the face of our guests’ experience, making sure that from the moment they arrive to when they leave, they’re having a memorable experience.
  • Constantly seeking out opportunities to go above and beyond for our guests. Make it your mission to ensure that every guest leaves happy.
  • The role works as part of a team to deliver fantastic food and beverage at events such as weddings, conferences, and private dinners, in our elegant Ballroom and library.
  • A large part of the role is setting up – you must be capable of consistently using high attention to detail.
  • The working hours vary from day to day and therefore flexibility in availability is key, particularly since the role involves the occasional early morning starts late nights.
  • You thrive on teamwork and support the management team to ensure our guests always leave with a fully positive dining experience.
  • This is a very much hands-on role, out on the floor enhancing our guest’s experience, including a certain aspect of physical moving, and lifting to set up the rooms.
  • We believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests.
