Configuring fluid handling products to support Alfa Laval’s e-business strategy
As a Configuration Engineer, you will become part of our global R&D, where you will collaborate with engineers, technical designers, machinists and other of our 60 employees globally. You will be part of a team that together is responsible for Alfa Laval Fluid Handling’s product configurators.

You will primarily be involved in the construction, implementation, and maintenance of configuration systems within:

• Modelling of products in our configurator
• Maintenance and further development of existing product models in configurator
• Support within configuration and other in-house applications
• Implementing New Products in Configurator
• Further development of the configurator platform
• You are also expected to participate in projects and activities where the focus is on the maintenance of data for existing products in ERP and PDM systems.

Flexible technician with good co-operation skills

You have studied computer science, mechanical engineering or other relevant technical degree combined with interest and flair for IT systems.

• You are quick in getting overview of complex data structures and IT systems
• You have a high degree of data discipline and take pride in the fact that the details are correct
• You can familiarize yourself with product building and have an interest in the modularization of these
• You are familiar with working with configuration tools (like Tacton), ERP systems as well as PLM/PDM systems (like TeamCenter)
• You have experience with project participation and management
• You communicate safely in both Danish and English in writing and speech

Your collaboration skills are good, and you are flexible in working with varying tasks. Finally, you like to work with others – including colleagues from other cultures – and contribute to our working environment with courage and humor. 10-20 travel days per year are to be expected.
