Job Description

ADGA is looking for a Configuration Management Specialist to provide the services of a subject matter expert (SME), supporting all Configuration Management requirements for our client.

Duties will include:

  • Configuration Identification: Identify and document the configuration items (CIs) that make up the LISRM project such as determining what needs to be controlled and managed such as hardware, software, documentation, and other components.
  • Change Management: Oversee the process of managing changes to the configuration items. This includes assessing proposed changes, evaluating their impact, and ensuring proper approval before any modifications are made.
  • Configuration Status Accounting: Maintain accurate records and documentation of the status and history of CIs throughout their lifecycle to ensure that all project stakeholders have current and reliable information about the CIs.
  • Configuration Audits: Conduct periodic audits to verify that the actual configuration of items conforms to the documentation and specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must hold a valid PSPC Secret level clearance.
  • Consultants – need to be registered with the Controlled Goods Program, and Employees will have it processed by ADGA.
  • Must have a College Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science or suitable engineering or technical field or an undergraduate level University Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years (48 months) of demonstrated experience within the last 7 years (84 months) in at least 7 of this assessment area’s criteria below:
  • Preparing Configuration Management plans and procedures.
  • Defining configuration management tools and techniques.
  • Defining configuration identification requirements.
  • Establishing and maintaining a configuration management control process.
  • Managing a configuration data management cell.
  • Establishing configuration audit procedures.
  • Configuration status accounting.
  • Release planning.
  • Identifying configuration management requirements in SOWs, Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Data Item Descriptions.
