JOB DESCRIPTION

The Ford Agency is actively working with a well-regarded DC law firm in their search for a professional Conflicts Law Clerk. This role will conduct high level conflicts analysis and work closely with colleagues to move clients through the conflicts process. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced law clerk with strong analytical, research, and writing skills who is looking to join a fast-paced and collaborative team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Distill complex data and break down legal issues into logical summaries
  • Maintain conflicts database, managing firm client, client subsidiary, and affiliate information
  • Navigate ethics walls and screens
  • Oversee the work of non-attorney staff

Qualifications Include:

  • Law degree from accredited institution
  • 2+ years firm experience
  • Familiarity with DC Rules of Professional Conduct or equivalent from other jurisdictions
  • Advanced legal research and analytical skills
  • Professional writing and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Intapp OPEN or similar

CANDIDATES FOR THIS POSITION MUST BE BASED IN THE DMV, NEW YORK, SAN FRANCISCO, OR LOS ANGELES. SALARY IS DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE AND LOCATION.
