JOB DESCRIPTION
The Ford Agency is actively working with a well-regarded DC law firm in their search for a professional Conflicts Law Clerk. This role will conduct high level conflicts analysis and work closely with colleagues to move clients through the conflicts process. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced law clerk with strong analytical, research, and writing skills who is looking to join a fast-paced and collaborative team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Distill complex data and break down legal issues into logical summaries
- Maintain conflicts database, managing firm client, client subsidiary, and affiliate information
- Navigate ethics walls and screens
- Oversee the work of non-attorney staff
Qualifications Include:
- Law degree from accredited institution
- 2+ years firm experience
- Familiarity with DC Rules of Professional Conduct or equivalent from other jurisdictions
- Advanced legal research and analytical skills
- Professional writing and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with Intapp OPEN or similar
CANDIDATES FOR THIS POSITION MUST BE BASED IN THE DMV, NEW YORK, SAN FRANCISCO, OR LOS ANGELES. SALARY IS DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE AND LOCATION.
