ABOUT YOU:

You will be providing administrative support to a small team, working alongside other administrators in an office, organising meetings, booking rooms, arranging consultation materials, preparing meeting agendas and taking notes.
To be successful in this role you will need to be personable, enthusiastic, organised and be a good team player
You will be proficient in IT, have proven ability to deal with customers and have excellent attention to detail.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to prioritise work effectively and the ability to record details accurately.
Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible by public transport and with a train station 5 minutes walk away.
This role is office based with home working but would require you to be office-based every Thursday and other days as agreed with manager.

Responsibilities:

AT BATH & NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL WE HAVE ONE OVERRIDING PURPOSE TO IMPROVE PEOPLE’S LIVES.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised individual with excellent communication skills to join our team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Day to day, you will be asked to prepare weekly packs, type up notes, proof-read documents and send letters for the Early Help Allocation Panel. As well as some other admin duties that may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide clear and easy to read written material with others e.g. line manager for authorisation and families.
  • Assist Key workers and managers’ by booing meetings via outlook calendar on the computer and phone.
  • Input data into a client system i.e. EHM /LCS and EYES from running records/ paper notes.
  • Proofreading written material for sharing with others e.g. on EHM / family assessments prior to sending to the key workers line manager for authorisation / meeting key deadlines and targets.
  • Financial support raising purchase orders and invoices, distributing petty cash. Training will be provided

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE IS SUBJECT TO A BASIC DBS CHECK.
