Overview
CommonSpirit Health was formed by the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health. With more than 700 care sites across the U.S. from clinics and hospitals to home-based care and virtual care services CommonSpirit is accessible to nearly one out of every four U.S. residents. Our world needs compassion like never before. Our communities need caring and our families need protection. With our combined resources CommonSpirit is committed to building healthy communities advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable and innovating how and where healing can happen both inside our hospitals and out in the community.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Using a Private Branch Exchange (PBX) operator function, you will use exceptional communication and judgment skills to make decisions quickly when answering inbound phone calls. You will need to recognize the difference between emergency and non-emergency calls and quickly evaluate the situation and decide on the appropriate course of action. You will practice active listening to connect the dots and know which questions to ask callers to get the critical details needed to accurately and efficiently direct the call. Call responses could include, call routing, code calling, overhead announcements and sending notifications to essential patient care team members across the country. You will also provide after hours remote patient care coverage for patients being monitored while healing at home; serving as their lifeline for questions and an escalation trigger for immediate patient care.
While you’re busy caring for our patients, we’ll take care of you with benefits that include health/dental/vision, FSA, matching retirement plans, paid vacation, adoption assistance, performance bonus eligibility and more!
