Location/Division Specific Information:
This position is part of Connected Solutions Unity Lab Services within the Laboratory Products Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT networking or related field
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of consultative sales experience with software-based products and IT services
- Experience working in environments with cross functional teams and/or Matrix organization
- Experience leading teams and influencing others without direct authority
- Financial competence and history of tried customer excellence
Preferred Experience
- Working experience in IT implementation sales driving overall portfolio strategy and supporting successful teams.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Consultative sales experience with IT and software-based products a plus
- Knowledge of IT networking infrastructure
- Customer Service experience a plus.
- Strong collaborator with problem solving leadership.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office, SFDC, Cognos, Baan and SAP.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time with overnight stays.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate Connectivity portfolio to customers while addressing their system needs aligned to the technical features in a clear and customer-friendly manner.
- Collaborate with product specialists and sales representatives through sales life cycle.
- Provide support to our sales organization to prepare quotes to customers.
- Serve as resource of technical product knowledge.
- Support Quality system and policies to drive root cause analysis.
- Maintain knowledge of Thermo Fisher Scientific LE portfolio and demonstrate the integrated services portfolio and outstanding value propositions
