QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Baccalauréat en ressources humaines, relations industrielles ou domaine connexe;
  • Un minimum de 5 à 10 ans d’expérience dans un rôle similaire, idéalement dans un environnement complexe et en constante évolution;
  • Connaissance et maîtrise des lois du travail et des meilleures pratiques RH;
  • Maîtrise de la suite Office;
  • Sens accru de la discrétion et du professionnalisme;
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et accomplir efficacement diverses tâches;
  • Bonne capacité à la résolution de problèmes;
  • Sens des responsabilités et bon jugement;
  • Excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles et en gestion du temps;
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités et à résoudre des problèmes;
  • Excellente habileté à communiquer et bonne maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit. Un bon niveau d’anglais écrit et verbal est nécessaire pour communiquer efficacement avec nos collaborateurs anglophones hors du Québec.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations or related field;
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a complex and ever-changing environment;
  • Knowledge and mastery of labor laws and HR best practices;
  • Proficiency in the Office suite;
  • Increased sense of discretion and professionalism;
  • Ability to work independently and perform various tasks effectively;
  • Good problem-solving skills;
  • Sense of responsibility and good judgment;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems;
  • Excellent communication skills and good command of French and English, both oral and written. A good level of written and verbal English is necessary to communicate effectively with our English-speaking collaborators outside Quebec.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Vice President, Talent and Culture, the Senior Human Resources Advisor will play a key role in the company’s success. The incumbent provides support in various initiatives and projects related to talent management, labour relations, organizational development, compensation and compliance. You will act as a key partner with managers and employees to promote a harmonious, inclusive work environment aligned with the company’s objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate and manage the review of certain existing programs as well as the development, implementation and ongoing management of new HR programs;
  • Participate in the design and implementation of professional development and career management programs;
  • Participate in the development of retention and recognition strategies;
  • Participate in the employee hiring process: writing job description and posting them on different platforms, analyze resumes received, conduct interviews; create employment letters, etc.);
  • Plan and coordinate the integration of new employees;
  • Act as a resource person for best practices, programs and benefits for all employees and managers;
  • Participate in the annual performance evaluation and employee appraisal process;
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen organizational culture and employee engagement;
  • Identify and resolve training needs;
  • Ensure that the organization complies with applicable labour laws and regulations;
  • Develop, review and update HR policies and procedures;
  • Provide support to the Vice-President (presentation, report), write communications, policies, appointments and translate them when necessary;
  • Other related tasks.
