Description:

We are inviting applications for the role of Construction Accounting Manager in Apopka, Florida. The primary function of this role is to oversee and manage various accounting operations within the construction industry. The role is based in-office with flexibility for work-from-home days as needed.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the processing and upkeep of accounting operations for construction projects.
Administer the full accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing accounting information.
Conduct AIA billing and manage construction cost documentation.
Handle administrative tasks such as human resources administration, onboarding, and benefits enrollment.
Ensure the maintenance of office functions, including ordering supplies.
Manage general accounting operations, ensuring adherence to accounting regulations within the construction industry.
Utilize Microsoft Office for various administrative and accounting tasks.
Oversee the management of customer credit records and applications.
Prior experience in the construction industry is required.
Experience with general contractor construction accounting
Must possess proficiency in accounting cycle management
Must have a clear understanding of commercial construction projects
Knowledge of construction industry regulations is essential
Experience with AIA Billing and AIA Documents is desirable
Must have basic office skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience in office administration and human resources is beneficial
