Job Description
Arcadis Vancouver office is searching for a Contract Administrator. You will be a vital part of our team in, completing working drawings and managing and performing site reviews for projects through the construction phase. Working with senior staff, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing consultants, contractor’s requests, quality and design site reviews, shop drawing reviews and processing change requests. Your ability to make educated design decisions on site and liaise with the office project architect will be crucial.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Architect or Intern Architect, Graduate of a recognized university program or Graduate of a recognized technical college
  • Must be registered with the AIBC or eligible to register with the AIBC
  • 8 to10 years’ experience with commercial, mix-use high-rise residential, senior living or healthcare projects
  • Experience in wood, steel and construction detailing
  • Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
  • Building envelope knowledge or accreditation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Extremely well organized with good interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
  • Onsite fulltime at client location 5 days a week
  • Ability to coordinate consultants and office staff
