Your main responsibilities
- Ensure the completion of medium- to large-scale projects and compliance with plans and specifications
- Monitor contractors’ compliance with customer health and safety regulations
- Determine work costs in accordance with standard methods and established plans and specifications
- Draft site notes and notices to contractors to ensure compliance with contractual clauses
- Take the necessary measures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations or written directives relating to the work
- Follow-up with contractors to annotate plans and produce plans as surveyed
- Monitor schedules and attend site meetings
- Check work progress against plans and specifications
- Contribute to the resolution of technical problems and provide expertise in the interpretation of plans and specifications
- Analyze and negotiate change orders with contractors
- Carry out any other related tasks that may help to complete the project.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, civil engineering or structural engineering.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position or in consulting engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and knowledge of software such as Revit and AutoCAD
- Negotiation skills, ability to manage priorities, good communication and customer service skills
