Your main responsibilities

  • Ensure the completion of medium- to large-scale projects and compliance with plans and specifications
  • Monitor contractors’ compliance with customer health and safety regulations
  • Determine work costs in accordance with standard methods and established plans and specifications
  • Draft site notes and notices to contractors to ensure compliance with contractual clauses
  • Take the necessary measures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations or written directives relating to the work
  • Follow-up with contractors to annotate plans and produce plans as surveyed
  • Monitor schedules and attend site meetings
  • Check work progress against plans and specifications
  • Contribute to the resolution of technical problems and provide expertise in the interpretation of plans and specifications
  • Analyze and negotiate change orders with contractors
  • Carry out any other related tasks that may help to complete the project.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, civil engineering or structural engineering.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position or in consulting engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and knowledge of software such as Revit and AutoCAD
  • Negotiation skills, ability to manage priorities, good communication and customer service skills
