REQUIREMENTS FOR A CONSTRUCTION CREW MEMBER

  • Ability to perform physical labor and operate construction equipment safely and efficiently
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to job sites within approximately one hour of the POST Shop in Alma, ON (we offer per-kilometer travel reimbursement for distances greater than 35 kilometers from home)
  • Previous experience in construction or related field (preferred)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Construction Crew Members play a vital role on our team. In addition to being well-versed in construction tasks, you demonstrate a willingness to learn, collaborate effectively, prioritize safety, and embody our core values. As a member of our team, you primarily engage in physical labor on farm and rural residential construction projects, under the guidance of the Site Supervisor.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform various construction-related tasks
  • Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as earth compactors, elevating/mobile work platforms, and pneumatic tools
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met and work is completed to the highest standards
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project goals are understood and met
