QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good oral and written skills are required.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Construction Management (an asset).
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- 5+ years site management experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Skilled at solving conflict between different project members and staff.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading field teams to execute construction-based projects and:
- Ensuring all project objectives and standards are met, and for finding solutions to problems as they arise.
- Working within the project and operations teams to ensure the project is planned in a manner that meets and exceeds all objectives, and ensure it is completed on time and within budget.
- Be a skillful delegator, adept at identifying crucial aspects of the project and prioritizing them— while staying on top of all other aspects of the site.
- In-field training, support, and development of all team members.
- Review completed projects for teaching/learning opportunities
The Construction Foreman duties include:
- Work with the project managers to contribute to proposals, estimates, budgets, schedules, WBS, change orders, RFIs, sub-contractor RFPs including recommending cost saving strategies.
- Builds and maintains relationships with new and existing clients and inspectors; promote and demonstrate Service is at Our Core
- Leads onsite crews in the construction and installation of new AC and CP systems.
- Responsible for onsite ground disturbance activities, and ensuring adherence to all client and legislative requirements.
- Ensuring crew members are executing project requirements and tasks according to all company and client policies.
- Contribute to, review and/or revise:
- Schedules
- Work breakdown structure (WBS)
- Requests for Information (RFI)
- Sub-Contractor RFPs
- Cost savings recommendations
- Be responsible for assisting with the construction training for new and existing staff.
- Work with project managers to follow projects’ change management processes, both internally and externally, to capture changes to design, costs, and schedule
- Contribute to the development and tracking project schedules and milestones including progress reporting for internal and external stakeholder
