We are seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator/Project Manager to join our team at the REGINA branch, which is growing rapidly and has an exciting variety of ongoing projects.

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Commercial Estimator/Project Manager, you will play a key role in both estimating and managing commercial and residential glazing projects. This includes analyzing project plans, creating accurate bids, overseeing project execution, and ensuring high-quality results. The position requires a strong understanding of construction methods, including commercial glass and glazing systems. Real & genuine industry knowledge surrounding glazing systems with curtain wall, storefront, automatic doors & windows is important. You will work with a dynamic team to manage projects of various sizes, from small installations to large commercial developments. This role also offers potential for career advancement in a fast-growing company.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes, with expertise in glazing or commercial glass projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Proficiency with estimation tools and project management software.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
• Ability to problem-solve independently while collaborating effectively with others.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in glazing or construction, with 3+ years in estimating and project management roles.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience may be considered.
• Licensing: Alberta or Saskatchewan Class 5 (or better) driver’s license required.
• Other: Ability and willingness to visit job sites as necessary.
