Within the Water Major Projects Division, the Construction Manager provides management of specific projects, delivering on project requirements, optimizing resource use in order to achieve the following outcomes:

• Actively Promotes, Leads and Supports a Zero Harm Culture
• Projects are delivered to client’s satisfaction, on time and within budget;
• Development of a strong and motivated team;
• Ensure stakeholder relationships are enhanced;
• Lessons learned and strategies developed to take forward to future projects.

NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS

• Desirable to hold a tertiary qualification or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing staff required.
• Proven management experience with responsibility and accountability for staff, plant and return on investment.
• Proven project management experience and a suitable level of experience in the construction industry preferably with a Contracting Organisation.
• Proven track record in identifying, researching and developing market place opportunities.
• The flexibility to be mobile as working on projects outside your home base will be required.
