Construction Manager - OHTL

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 10 years’ industrial/commercial construction experience with a minimum of 5 years’ management experience (e.g. Foreman, Supervisor, Leading Hand) working on construction and or OHTL projects or similar
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction would be beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations related to overhead transmission lines.
• Experience in managing and leading a team of people
• Knowledge of OHS and Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice and Standards as they apply to the construction industry
• Proficiency in Project Manager software and tools.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written with a demonstrated ability to discuss a wide range of issues to people across all levels of the organisation.
• Equivalent construction tickets and safety certifications
• Construction Card
• Current and valid driver’s license

PRIMARY LOCATION: Australia-NSW-Wagga Wagga & Riverina
WORK TYPE: Full-time

ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing the construction of overhead transmission lines, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of OHTL construction projects.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure project goals are met.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
