A Visionary Leader: You understand the role of heat networks and energy infrastructure in the energy transition and have a passion for sustainable solutions.
Proven Experience: Extensive background in managing large-scale construction projects, ideally within renewable energy, heat networks, or infrastructure sectors.
Safety and Quality Focused: Commitment to the highest standards of safety, quality, and delivery excellence, holding NEBOSH certification.
Innovative and Strategic Thinker: Ability to identify opportunities for efficiency and new solutions in project delivery.
Strong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire both teams and stakeholders.

Your Role:
Are you ready to be at the forefront of the UK’s energy revolution? As our new Construction Manager for the Southwest Region, you will have the unique opportunity to lead the delivery of advanced heat networks, renewables and other key infrastructure projects that directly support the transition to a net zero economy. This role is crucial to ensuring the safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of projects, from initial construction through to commissioning and handover, contributing to a sustainable energy future.
In this role, you won’t just be managing timelines and budgets—you’ll be leading a team to deliver the infrastructure that powers our heat networks and low-carbon solutions. You will play a central part in driving innovation, ensuring our projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality to support E.ON’s vision for a decarbonised future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the successful delivery of low-carbon construction projects, including the development of heat networks across the Southwest Region.
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and performance targets, from construction and commissioning through to smooth handover.
- Support EIS’s net zero goals by achieving Medium-Term Plan (MTP) objectives.
- Build and lead project delivery teams, ensuring that each project is resourced effectively to achieve successful outcomes.
- Integrate sustainable construction practices into every project, prioritising energy efficiency and decarbonisation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring projects align with customer needs and expectations while delivering positive impacts for local communities.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management, celebrating key milestones and addressing any challenges.
