REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Planner, with a focus on high-rise or large-scale development projects
  • Strong proficiency in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • In-depth understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and critical path management
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing project risks
  • A relevant degree or qualification in Construction Management, Planning, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Construction Planner, you will be responsible for managing the planning and scheduling of major high-rise development projects. Your expertise in creating accurate timelines and coordinating resources will be vital in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules for high-rise projects
  • Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure alignment with project objectives
  • Identify and manage potential risks to project timelines and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Advise on resource allocation, sequencing, and efficient construction methods
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and project specifications
