Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and tracking project construction programmes for Elgin Energy’s project pipeline.
This is a newly created opportunity with Elgin Energy as we are growing our construction management services team. You will assist the Construction Management team by creating high level portfolio and project level construction programmes, analysing contractor works programmes, tracking delay, reporting to senior management on project schedules and identifying project programme risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop baseline project schedules at a project and portfolio level for pre-construction activities and construction stage activities.
  • Work closely with the Construction Management team to develop, maintain, track and report on project schedules.
  • Proactively analyse project schedules to identify risks and propose solutions.
  • Integrate multiple contractor schedules into single master schedules, analyse, risk assess and identify schedule improvements.
  • Assist the project teams in reporting on programme and schedule by creating custom programme reports.
  • Assist on several construction projects in parallel, depending on scale and complexity, taking the lead on project schedules.
  • Co-ordinate and manage close working relationships with external contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders throughout the construction process.
  • Proactively identify and solve problems as they arise, taking preventative measures to avoid risks to the project schedule and budget. Manage and report on deviations from project schedules.
  • Co-ordinate with the wider project delivery team to ensure projects are constructed in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
