WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Construction Project Planner / Project Programmer to join the QLD region. The successful candidate will be required to develop and implement project controls providing our projects and New Business teams with advice and direction to deliver projects in a successful timeframe and budget. They will be integral to the team structure in both providing senior management reporting and advising the client on current outcomes and projections going forward.
Working across a number of our projects and reporting directly to the Planning Manager, the successful candidate will drive a planning culture based on best practice and with a proactive focus on Risk Management and Safety; implementation and status reporting of Programmes on live projects; communicate Programme performance to Senior Management; capture and share Planning knowledge; participate in planning innovation and emerging technologies relating to BIM & 4D and develop tender programmes for New Business.
To be considered for this role, it is expected that you would hold relevant tertiary qualifications (Building/Engineering/Construction/Quantity Surveying) and have worked as a Project Planner/Programmer in the industry as understanding construction and engineering techniques and sequences are vital. Competence in planning software such as Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject, knowledge of costs of labour & resources and the product market together with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with project teams and senior management, will help you succeed in this role. There may be a requirement to travel between our Brisbane and Gold Coast projects as necessary.
