CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR

Mission Group is looking for a Construction Project Administrator to join the Construction team and support an upcoming project. The successful candidate will be responsible for general administrative and project duties in the construction group. Reporting to the Project Manager, the individual will perform project administration as assigned by the Project Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in expanding their career in construction and gaining practical experience directly on site.
This role is based on a construction project site in Kelowna, BC.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with project-related documents in a timely manner and maintain up-to-date and accurate tracking logs using Procore.
  • Generate and manage the review and issuance of Subcontract Agreements ensuring all relevant documentation is provided; follow up with trades to obtain all relevant contract documentation, review and ensure Bonds and Certificates of Insurance are accurate.
  • Receive and organize invoices from trades and suppliers; ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process all change management documentation in Procore.
  • Maintain organized project files in accordance with Mission Group’s Project Filing Structure.
  • Attend meetings and record and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Assist with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals at project closeout.
  • Maintain effective communications to ensure all stakeholders are informed and up to date.
  • Partner with project team members and other stakeholders to identify, implement, and support cost-effective project delivery.
  • Manage requests for equipment including IT, safety gear, workstations, office supplies, etc.
  • Other administrative duties as required.
