Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Project Manager you will be expected to work with a Senior Project Manager, Associate or Director to successfully manage, coordinate and deliver projects.
The role will cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception, through the design and procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase.
The Project Manager will be expected to
- Work with other member of the project management team to successfully manage and deliver capital investment projects in healthcare and education.
- Recent experience in project delivery of RIBA Stages 0 to 7 is required.
- Lead project management commissions taking overall responsibility for their successful delivery
- Liaise directly with clients, oversee project management team members with their duties
- Ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time
- Planning, directing and supervising all operations included in moderately sized projects with moderate risk, complexity and financial impact
- Have a passion for first class service deliver, implementing best practice and continuous improvement and promoting AECOM externally.
- Build on our portfolio of major blue-chip clients and high-profile projects
- Supporting the development of proposal for new work
- Be specifically responsible for delegated business development / marketing objectives
- Contribute to the overall operational running of the AECOM project management team
Approach to all projects requires a high degree of flexibility and creativity, excellent presentational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and consultants. The successful candidate shall be charged with the delivery of Project Management Services within our Client focused and highly motivated professional team.
Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Post Graduate Qualification – ideally Project Management / Construction / Engineering / Quantity Surveying related
- In the process of pursuing Chartered Status with either of the following institutions; SCSI/RICS / CIOB / RIBA / EI
- APM affiliation is a benefit
