Responsibilities:

  • Complete construction projects ensuring the health and safety of our tenants and employees.
  • Projects include in-suite renovations, exterior siding, windows, roofs, boilers, common areas etc.
  • Project Administration from start to completion of each project, including construction and accounting administration.
  • Create Capex scenarios and reports as needed.
  • Project Manage Building Upgrades.
  • Tendering / preparation of RFPs.
  • Complete municipal building and development permits where required.
  • AFE & Purchase Order Process (Yardi) in collaboration with Construction Administrators.
  • Construction Management & Progress Inspections.
  • Procurement - vetting of new contractors and suppliers.
  • Provide Contract Admin team with information required to create construction agreements for all work being awarded.
  • Operations Support in designed territory.
  • Critical Emergency response and its reporting (Clear Risk).
  • Provide weekly updates on projects to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project activities with both our field staff and Calgary Head office.
  • Vendor Management, collaboration with vendors on ongoing projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
