Description:
As our company continues to expand, we are actively seeking talented professionals to join our team. We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager. In this key role, you will play a vital part in our continued success, overseeing daily site operations and ensuring our prestigious projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong track record of successfully managing and delivering complex construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects in compliance with company policies, procedures, and Building Regulations.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Chair and document site meetings with design teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry best practices.
- Manage project programmes and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and targets.
- Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and actively promote a strong H&S culture on-site.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, liaising with clients, consultants, and architects as necessary.
- Ensure full compliance with BCAR and RIAI Standard Forms of Contract.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience with a main contractor.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities to liaise effectively with all stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain budgetary controls.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
