We are recruiting to fill the position below:

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in Architecture to oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have 10-20 years of experience managing construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate of Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
  • 12-20 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Membership of Architectural professional bodies.
  • Experience with construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid).
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills (scheduling, budgeting, risk management).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, Asana).
  • Familiarity with construction management systems (CMS).
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors.

Site Management:

  • Supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.

Team Management:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Foster collaboration and communication among stakeholders.
  • Manage conflicts and resolve disputes.

Client Relationship:

  • Liaise with clients to understand requirements and expectations.
  • Provide project updates and progress reports.
  • Ensure client satisfaction.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, building codes, and company policies.
  • Manage project documentation, records, and reporting.
