Our client is one of Ireland’s most respected construction contractors, known for delivering large-scale projects across healthcare, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major healthcare facility development in Leitrim, with future opportunities to manage projects across the West of Ireland.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Project Manager will oversee the delivery of a key healthcare project, managing all aspects from planning through to completion. This includes ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of the healthcare project, ensuring it meets timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Manage project teams, including subcontractors and site staff.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Control project costs and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Oversee compliance with health & safety and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior management and clients.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in project management, preferably with healthcare or large-scale public sector projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract management, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and teams effectively.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Full driving license.
