QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- 10 years of verifiable experience as a Project Manager may be substituted for a degree or a combination of education and verifiable experience.
- Emphasis on K-12 education and/or higher education is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and excellent presentation skills are required.
- Strong organization, leadership, negotiation, and delegation skills are required.
- Proven ability to develop lasting, positive customer relationships.
- Must be able to interact effectively and diplomatically with diverse people, both on an individual basis as well as within group situations.
- Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities:
- Assist preconstruction with estimates and detailed project plans.
- Participate in development and delivery of project proposals.
- Champion the project turnover from preconstruction to construction.
- Participate in and/or drive scope comparisons, vendor selections, and contract administration.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Oversee project construction to monitor compliance with contract, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Perform project reviews to ensure that projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
- Provide status reports regarding project milestones, budget, deliverables, deficiencies, risks and issues.
