Job Description

The role will be assisting the UK property pricing team to deliver on our contractual obligations of our construction schedule, while maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer support. The team is in London.

  • The team has broad ranging roles encompassing research, analysis, trend reporting on construction related costs as well as carrying out closed claim reviews, live claim audits, estimate exercises on behalf of insurers as well as providing insight and recommendations to the team manager.
  • The role will also have day to day involvement in the delivery of our data analytics, trend reporting, construction consultation, custom pricelist building, general office duties and sales and service support.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Construction Repair Analyst will be responsible for the analysis and assembly of all the team’s trend and news reports related material equipment, and labour components in the real-world data we collect. These will be for by our customers to stay abreast on current factors affecting repair costs. As well as working closely with any users who require any alterations to our pricelist or the creation of customer specific ad-hoc pricelists. This position also involves research and preparation of other construction and/or business support related projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction analysis, repair, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
  • Excellent skills on Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and thorough reports.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research
  • Pricelist maintenance
  • Pricelist analysis
  • General data and economic analysis, report creation and publication.
  • Research and creation of Ad hoc trend reports
  • Pricing requests (liaising with customers/mailbox monitoring etc.)
