Construction Worker

at  6 Meter Construction Limited

We are looking for 10 construction workers to join our dedicated team.
The position is permanent full-time position, and we guarantee at least 30 hours per week job. We will pay $29.66 to $31.00 depending on learning ability or experience.
The successful candidates need to be able to start immediately and work lawfully in New Zealand.

The duties include:

• Clearing the construction sites for the erection of structures and buildings
• Assisting in setting up the job sites and preparing the layouts
• Moving tools and equipment to construction sites
• Loading or unloading building and construction materials
• Helping carpenters, plasters and all other skilled tradesmen with their work whenever necessary
• Performing routine tasks in erecting and repairing structures on construction sites.
• Operating and caring for the construction tools, equipment and machines in a responsible & safe manner
• Clean work area, maintain work tools and machines daily after the work is done
• Following instructions from team supervisors

To be successful for this role, the candidates need to be

• physically fit
• able to pass health and criminal checks if required
• At least one year relevant work experience
• available to work for the hours as required by the employer. May be required to work on Saturdays
• able to work in New Zealand lawfully and make immediate start
