Description:

BACKGROUND

In the current socio-economic context, the role of private sector funding has become increasingly critical for the advancement and sustainability of Save the Children Indonesia’s initiatives. Our extensive portfolio, spanning a wide range of developmental and humanitarian programs, has been significantly enhanced by the support from both international and local private sector entities. This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to social responsibility and demonstrates the impactful synergy between non-governmental organizations and the private sector. Therefore, there is a need for strong team support to facilitate collaboration and potential partnerships between both parties. The primary purpose of this is to find the right candidate who can accommodate, maintain, and develop collaborations with local corporations in Indonesia.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional qualification in Corporate Partnership/Fundraising, Business Development, Fundraising.
  • University degree in international development, business administration, finance.
  • Experience managing grants, contracts & sub agreements in Non-Profit are preferable. • Fluency in English is essential (both writing and speaking).
  • Relevant experience managing local or international corporate donor funded projects particularly those addressing human/children’s rights and those applying partnership approaches.
  • Demonstrated experience of leading successful fundraising and new business development for non-governmental organizations. • Strong analytical skills, computer literacy and excellent documentation skills are a must.
  • Ability to work well with a team and establish relationships with other teams/offices.
  • Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and English communication skills including influencing and negotiation.
  • Excellent time management and planning capacity

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for strengthening the relations with donors and as the resource person for donor compliance.
  • Identify, research, and prioritise create funding opportunities from corporate; provide clear recommendations to pursue and initiate action.
  • In collaboration with the program teams, develop, and review annual stewardship reports for corporate donors/partners and ensure they are delivered according to the agreed upon schedule.
  • Responsible in process of the co-creation opportunities with Technical Experts within SC IDN, potential donors, private sectors, and local partners.
  • Managing tracker, database, dashboard, KPI and meetings
  • Manage, coordinate, and advance partnership.
  • Working with Donor Stewardship to implement donor stewardship program.
  • Support the Award Management Function
    In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
