  • Either part or fully ACA/CTA qualified, or equivalent.
  • Experience of advising clients on UK Corporate Tax issues.
  • Exposure to international tax issues and M&A tax projects is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as sound written and oral skills.
  • Experience of assisting in developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Having a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when working in diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture.
  • The ability to exercise judgement and apply commercial thinking in making client recommendations.

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. Responsibilities:

  • Delivering complex cross border tax advice
  • Tax accounting and tax audit support work
  • Corporate transaction support
  • Dealing with HM Revenue and Customs on technical matters
  • Tax compliance
  • Working closely with our transfer pricing and VAT technical specialists
  • Support with maintaining and building client relationships
  • Supporting the development of junior staf
