Description:
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree from an accredited institution with a background in plant ecology/botany/taxonomy.
- Ability to identify plants from forest habitats in Singapore
- Minimum 3 years working as a botanist in Singapore
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with GIS and statistical analyses
- Proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Attention to detail, with outstanding oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct flora surveys in a range of different habitat types in Singapore
- Assist with data entry, statistical analyses, provision of flora-specific recommendations, and the preparation of technical reports including Environmental Impact Studies.
- Provide support for other tasks, including administrative tasks and business development, depending on the needs of the company.
