The post-holder will be responsible for the delivery of SACT and radiotherapy for the above tumour sites as well as expanding a trials portfolio in these cancers for the patients of the South West Wales Cancer Centre.
The postholder will be joining a friendly and forward-thinking consultant team of clinical and medical oncologists who are committed to delivering highest standards of cancer care, alongside a large team of other clinical and non-clinical professionals.

The postholder will be an integral member of the head and neck team, working with 3 other clinical oncologists. The team is supported by specialist nursing, dietetic and speech and language therapy colleagues.

Lung
The postholder will join a team of 2 other clinical oncologists working across South West Wales. The postholder will deliver radical chemoradiotherapy (including SABR) and palliative radiotherapy
The postholder will provide mutual cross cover for the other lung oncologists.
The Swansea lung cancer MDT is held on Monday morning and can be joined remotely.
The postholder will see approximately 100 new patients per year and 200 follow ups.
