Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen based in Powys, Mid Wales based in one of two child development centres providing multidisciplinary services alongside experienced paediatric nursing and allied health professionals. You will join two highly motivated, consultant community paediatricians covering South and Mid Powys and enjoy high levels of continuity of care and job satisfaction.
The paediatricians contribute to an integrated nationally agreed multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessment pathway, Powys is piloting a Cerebral Palsy register for Wales to improving care and outcomes. We work closely with CAMHS and with an Integrated Disability Service with multiagency representation. If you are an ambitious professional with energy and enthusiasm, who puts families at the heart of all you do, looking for a new opportunity to develop your skills and interests, there is flexibility to accommodate you within our team. An interest in Adoption, Fostering and Looked After Children (LAC) would be welcome. We have good specialist nurse support and administration for assessment and ongoing care for LAC children.
