Consultant (Flora Specialist)

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree from an accredited institution with a background in plant ecology/botany/life science/environmental science or other program with relevant experiences.
• Ability to identify plants from various forested habitats in Singapore
• Minimum 2 years working as a flora specialist in Singapore
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with GIS, basic R coding and viewing Autocad drawings
• Proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel and Word
• Attention to detail, with outstanding oral and written communication skills

• Plan and conduct flora surveys in a range of different habitat types in Singapore
• Assist with data entry, statistical analyses, provision of flora-specific and/or arboricultural recommendations, and the preparation of technical reports including Environmental Impact Studies.
• Provide support for other tasks, including administrative tasks, capacity building, project management and business development, depending on the needs of the company.
