ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Consultant or Senior Analyst, Group Corporate Actuarial to join our growing team!
This role can be located anywhere in Ontario or Quebec.
This role is a key member of the IFC Group Corporate Actuarial team. The team’s objective is to provide high-quality actuarial advice in all regions of IFC (Canada, US and UK). The main objectives for the role are to provide reserving assurance services, to consolidate regional reserving results as well as well as support financial reporting. IFC Group Corporate Actuarial roles demand high-quality communication skills due to the extensive engagement with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE:

  • Contribute to the provision of an actuarial reserving assurance service to the Group Chief Actuary and Risk Officer, IFC Audit Committee, Regional Chief Actuaries and the Regional Audit Committees.
  • Contribute to the consolidation of regional reserving results and reporting into the IFC Group consolidated basis and support the reporting and communication of these results to the IFC actuarial and business management teams.
  • Contribute expertise to ad-hoc reviews or investigations of an actuarial nature, as necessary.
  • Effectively communicate and accurately report actuarial analyses and recommendations.
  • Execute actuarial process and analysis to achieve and continuously comply with all relevant professional standards, regulatory standards, and IFC policies and principles.
