Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for building and enhancing the image and reputation of TruStage by favorably positioning TruStage and its products, services and staff in multi-channel media.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop measurable integrated communication campaigns to include multi-channel opportunities to compel key stakeholders to action in support of TruStage’s corporate reputation.
  • Lead strategy development and execution of projects that enhance TruStage’s brand and reputation through proactive media and public relations.
  • Provide strategic consultation and materials that help build the company’s reputation while communicating about a variety of topics and issues that could be of a sensitive nature both internally and externally.
  • Provide target audience insights on stakeholder groups, including media outlets and other external communications stakeholders, to help guide strategies and communications.
  • Oversee staff as needed, which may include management of internal and external communications resources.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or an equivalent in work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, strong communicator internally and externally.
  • Experience in both agency and corporate settings preferred.
  • Experience working with vendors preferred.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to self-direct own work in support of broader goals.
  • Collaborates with others to find creative approaches and align to industry best practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Compelling and proficient writer with strong grasp of AP style.
  • Compelling content creation; ability to uncover creative angles and craft interesting stories.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive ideas to execution; someone who is strategic, creative and has the ability to make things happen.
  • Practices accountability: say what you do/mean and mean what you say/do.
  • Ability to influence; will interact with people at all levels of the organization and need to be able to build trust and mutual respect with key stakeholders.
